Spears and Federline Call It Quits

According to the Associated Press, Britney Spears filed for divorce in the Los Angeles Superior County Court, citing "irreconcilable differences". Spears and Kevin Federline were married in and have two children: one year-old Sean Preston and their new baby, James Jayden Federline, born on September 12th.

Interestingly, Life Style Extra reported back in June 2006 that the papers had already been signed, three months before their new son was born and just months after her layout in People Magazine (December 2005) where she put the marital problem rumors to rest.
