Many students just don't know how to break through the roadblocks, because they are overwhelmed by the many choices. That's why I created the poll about roadblocks. It's a big issue, and one I plan to talk about often.
One thing that really hurts is that some students fall into a money trap--they enroll in an unaccredited and expensive "school" that offers easy acceptance, just to rope in unsuspecting students. Some people get burned, when they build up a big dept and realize they can't transfer credits to another institution. They often abandon their goals because they start down the wrong road and become frustrated.
First of all, don't give up! Secondly, just know that you're not alone and be sure to read as much as you can about your options, to avoid wasting any money on things that don't work for you.
Look over your options, and don't be in a rush. A quick and easy degree or diploma is not a good thing. As always, if it looks too good to be true, you can be sure it is.
