I came across a story of Mary Queen of Scots a number of years back while researching a history paper. The story was no more than a brief rundown of her life. The part that really caught my attention was her possible involvement in the death of husband number 2, Lord Darnley. Then marrying the man thought to have orchestrated the murder. Was this History or a Soap Opera??? I began reading anything I could find on this Queen. The more I read the less I understood about her. She was strong, yet it was the result of her weakness for choosing the wrong man that ultimately led to her death. She was kind and tender-hearted, but would have axed her cousin, Elizabeth if Liz hadn't axed her first. As was once said " She was an enigma wrapped in a mystery". But by golly, I love her....
