Problem Solved

As I mentioned in my last blog (Sometimes You Hit a Snag), I had a missing marriage that threatened to collapse my entire family tree. After chasing down a few failed leads, and finding a few genuine clues, I decided to get a copy of the Heraldic Visitations of Cheshire for 1663. I was sure to find my answers there.

And lo and behold, I found proof that Thomas Church was indeed married to Anne Mainwaring. But as one problem is solved, another one pops up. My records say Anne was daughter to Randle, but the Vistations say she was daughter of Thomas. So now my challenge is to find where in the Mainwaring clan our Anne fits in.
