As you can see, I've started this week's theme of banned and challenged books off with a bang. We've already featured a banned author (Dorothy Allison), the Banned Books Week Proclamation and the Radcliffe Publishing Course list of banned books from the books they consider the 100 best novels of the 20th century.
Can I top this start? You'll have to wait and see, but expect lots of articles and blogs on the books, authors and issues of Banned Books Week. Don't forget to check out the ALA (American Libraries Association) site for more resources you can use to teach your friends, coworkers and students about banned, burned, censored and challenged books right here in America.
Check back daily for more articles and blogs!
