Wayne A. "Rusty" Drugan Jr, ex-NEBA Director, Died on December 7th 2006.

Wayne A. "Rusty" Drugan Jr., who led the New England Booksellers Association as executive director since 1992, died at home in Cambridge, Mass., yesterday afternoon. He was 59 years old.
Before joining NEBA (now called NEIBA—New England Independent Booksellers Association), Drugan worked at Reading International, Inc. in a number of capacities, including vice-president, for 15 years. He also served as a Republican election commissioner for the city of Cambridge since 1995.
Drugan leaves behind his mother, Nora K. Marcks of Valley City, N.D.; a brother, Manfred Drugan, and his wife, Janice Drugan, of Valley City, N.D.; two sisters, Patricia Robbins and her husband, Bill Robbins, of Cavalier, N.D., and Sharon Miller and her husband, Dale Miller, of Minneapolis, Minn.; and many nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are being made by the A.J. Spears Funeral Home in Cambridge and Oliver-Nathan Funeral Home in Valley City, N.D. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the American Cancer Society, Pancreatic Cancer Research, 30 Speen St., Framingham, Mass. 01701.
NEIBA is planning a memorial service in Massachusetts early next year. No date has been set.
