Christmas Fiction

Books that deal with the holidays in fiction are rare. It's hard to write a decent fiction story that is centered around a holiday without sounding contrived. Here are a few authors who've managed to do it well. Enjoy!

The Handmaid and The Carpenter by Elizabeth Berg

Berg does a splendid job retelling the story of Mary and Joseph. she allows us to see them as the intensely young couple that they would have been, grappling with a momentous and unbelievable turn in thier lives.
