You don’t have to live with back pain, try these simple activities.

If you suffer from chronic back pain, some core exercises might be just what you need. It is estimated that 85% of adults suffer from some form of back pain at some point in their lives. If you haven't injured your back or even if you have and you experience back pain, the way to relief is through strengthen your core musculature.

I personally have helped a number of my clients reduce and then eliminate their back pain all together with some simple core strengthening exercises. Remember when you perform your routine, you have to include the core as well. It is after all a part of the your body too. Think about it for a moment, the core is that part of you that connects the upper and lower sections of the body. Can you imagine if the core were weak, how vulnerable you would be to injury, just doing your daily movements?

Just functioning daily does strengthen your core to a certain degree based on gravity, carrying objects, standing and bending, but the problem is that most people just don't move enough to simulate and strengthen it adequately. Therefore you have to incorporate specific movement designed to fortify the core.

Yoga and pilates are wonderful ways to strengthen the core without actually having to go to a gym or lifting weights. These activities can be done from the comfort of your own home and cost nothing but a few moments a day, time well invested. If you are in that 85% of the population who have, or are suffering from back pain, try yoga or pilates and you will be pleasantly surprised.
