Weight Loss Pills

I was recently asked what I thought about over-the-counter weight-loss pills, seemly available everywhere. If you are considering taking these not-so-magic-pills it would be wise to have a discussion with your doctor or even a pharmacist first. These pills usually contain any number of ingredients that together or even alone could present some serious problems for the user. These over-the-counter pills are not subject to the same rigorous testing that prescription drugs or other over-the-counter drugs are, therefore the venders can make whatever claims they like. Although if found to be harmful the FDA will pull these pills.

Consider this: if by some stretch of the imagination these pills did help you lose weight chances are you’d have to continue taking them (this could prove to be harmful to you in the long run) and still eat a lower calorie diet to maintain any gains made.

As people continue to search for that magic pill sure to melt pounds away, I’d like to remind you once again that it does not exist. The surest way to lose weight is to adopt a life-style conducive to this end. That means eating healthier, choosing low fat foods, monitoring portion sizes and engaging in so form of regular exercise. This may not sound like a magic pill but it’s the surest way to reach and maintain a healthy weight and life-style. for more info read: Weight LossPill
