Following the success of Katherine Swynford, Alison Weir will be returning to her more regular stamping ground of the Tudor period for her next non-fiction book. According to Weir's official website, The Lady in the Tower: The Fall of Anne Boleyn will "tell in unprecedented detail the dramatic tale of Anne Boleyn's arrest, imprisonment and execution, and will also look at the development of the romantic legends surrounding this extraordinary Queen".
The Lady in the Tower is expected to be released in autumn 2009.
