Starting November 1, 2007, kids can sign up and join the fun of writing a full novel by midnight, November 30.

How do you do this? The first step is to head over to NaNoWriMo and sign up. Read through the novel writing advice and ideas. Then, on November first, begin writing. Write like crazy each and every day. Set a word count goal and, at the end of each day, post how many words your written on your NaNoWriMo profile.

Set a goal for yourself. How many words do you plan to write each day? Be realistic and keep to your goal. At the end of the month, all young writers will receive a participation certificate to print off and display proudly.
