Felt Leaf Bookmarker

The tree beside our house has decided to drop all its leaves on the yard in one big downpour today. The other trees out back are choosing different days to drop their leaves. So, all in all, the kids and I will probably spend the rest of this month raking leaves and piling them up on our garden.

While we’ve been raking, we’ve also been collecting a few leaves to press and dry inside heavy books. We plan on using them in decoupage projects during the winter months.

We’ve also been making felt leaf bookmarkers (you’d think we’d be sick of leaves by now). Here are the instructions and patterns for this super easy craft project:
