It is cold outside. What better way to keep children busy indoors than planning, preparing and presenting a small play, skit or a puppet show. See my article on simple puppet making.
When the schoolyard is icy or muddy, keep the kids inside, but let enjoy recess time acting out a small play. Kids can stay busy and excited for hours play acting one of their favorite stories.
See my play-acting article for basic instructions and ideas.
