Out Looking for Spring

Hello Readers,

The winter seems to stretch on interminably some years. An walk or two outside when the weather begins to change can be good exercise for the body and for the soul. Children can learn to spot the subtle signs of the changing season and know that spring is definitely on her way.

Getting out in the invigorating fresh air and finding spring coming can be a big spirit lifter for children and adults alike.

Children can divide their search into segments looking at the ground, the trees, the sky and observing wildlife – birds and small animals, to see that spring is coming. There are clues in the sunrise and sunset. There are the buds swelling and the early plants and flowers that sprout up.

There are signs of weather and signs of animal activity like birds flying north and starting nest building that kids can look for to make this adventure – Looking for Signs of Spring – a memorable one.
