Hi Readers,
It's back-to-school time and many of you students (and teachers) will be needing ideas for show and tell sessions. What can you bring to show? You don't want same old things! You want something unique--something unusual, so your speech will stand out from all the others.
Use your summer vacations and summer day experiences to jumpstart your brain. Come up with an object to show that will interest everyone in your class. Where did you go? What did you see? What did you do all summer? What did you read? Did you stay home and stay cool indoors? What crafts and skills did you learn?
Read my latest article called Show and Tell Ideas, for some guidance on how to choose the perfect item to show, and how to plan what you will tell about it. When the teacher allows show and tell, be ready with an outstanding idea. Choose an object that will catch the imagination of your fellow students and tell about your favorite and most memorable episodes of summer.
