Now the cool weather has arrived we can't keep the kids indoors. While they run and jump in leaf piles, gather nuts and play they may find a cocoon and a cocoon is a mystery to be enjoyed.
Why not have the kids hunt moth cocoons and save the cocoons until spring to see what happens? Read my new article about cocoon hunting and hatching.
In the meantime, read A Girl of the Limberlost, a wonderful story of a girl growing up - a great book for nature-lovers. Read on for a review of this book A Girl of the Limerlost.
