Common Birds

Dear Readers,

With spring on its way, kids will enjoy feeding and watching backyard birds. This article, Common Backyard Birds, helps identify Cardinals, American Goldfinches, Blue Jays, Indigo Buntings, and Cedar Waxwings.

Encourage children to get outside for some fresh air and cutivate a love for the birds and nature.

Birdwatching is one of my hobbies and I have found that on cold days the children love to watch birds come to the feeders and they like to learn those birds names and some of the behavior facts. On warmer days we sit and watch humminbirds come to the feeder and listen to other favorite birds sing in the trees around the house.

Thanks for reading Kids'activities,

Elece
