Working with software became a passion for me back in the DOS days. I still have some of the old IBM manuals with DOS codes. Things have changed so much since then. Now that we have "Windows" software, in many cases, you do not have to type well. Hunt and peck works just fine. The mouse has become one of the main input devices instead of the keyboard.
New terms like "Click on" or "Clicking," have become everyday vocabulary. Office software has made our work lives easier, instead of using a typewriter to type a form with seven carbons, we just print and sign more originals. Unfortunately, the makers of "White Out," have had to invent other uses for their product.
