Although there are many schools who are desperate for good teachers, the best school districts and more sought after schools are difficult to get jobs at. Here are some tips for landing a teaching position.

Prepare for your interviews, and take as many interviews as you can get. Practice answering interview questions with someone and have them critique your responses. Be sure to not use "um" and "like" as you answer questions. It is OK to take a moment to think before responding, a moment of silence is not a bad thing.
