Our recent trip to Las Vegas provided an opportunity to check out the different hotel spas. With lots of competition, the Vegas spas are outdoing themselves, hoping their spa amenities will be the deciding factor when selecting hotel accommodations.
At the Mandalay Spa at Mandalay Bay, guests can choose from a wide range of Ayurvedic based treatments as well as traditional Swedish massages. I opted for an intensive Vitamin C Facial that left my skin glowing.
Rejuvenated, we strolled down the strip in the 100 degree heat.
The Qua Spa at Caesar’s Palace is among the best. The Qua features Stone-and-water themed Roman baths with infinity pools and an Arctic ice room maintained at 55 degrees where slivers of shaved ice exfoliate the skin. For a facility fee, that’s waived with a massage, guests gain access to the fitness center, Roman Baths, Laconium, Arctic Ice and herbal steam rooms.
Guests at Bellagio’s can schedule poolside cabana massages or visit the spa for one of their luxurious treatments, for instance, a Caviar Fusion Facial or Sensi Summer Serenade before an evening performance at Cirque du Soleil’s O Theatre.
At the Wynn, spa guests can indulge in the Good Luck Ritual, a treatment based upon the Five Elements of Feng Shui, an ancient art practiced for thousands of years to achieve health, wealth, prosperity, happiness and harmony. Guests are rejuvenated with a 50-minute custom massage using Thai herbs, a luxurious lemon verbena and peppermint foot treatment, an ultra moisturizing hand therapy, and a relaxing, wild lime botanical scalp treatment.
The Paris, with its authentic French atmosphere, boasts a roomy Mandara Spa with Balinese therapies. Guests can enjoy massages in the poolside cabanas or relax in the spa. The Paris is well known for its signature French caviar facial.
