Food Lion had Freschetta pizzas on sale, so I grabbed a few. I typically buy based on sales when it comes to frozen pizzas. They all taste rather the same other than some of the real cheap brands which rank down there with frozen fried chicken. That is not meant as a compliment. I'm southern. Frozen fried chicken just doesn't do it.
All the Freschetta pizzas were good, but the brick oven pizzas were really terrific. Those are square. The crust is fairly thin and has a hand tossed look and some seasonings. The sauce is mild but really delicious. Toppings are nice - none of those little pepperoni chunks that look like pieces of mica.
I watch for Freschettas on sale now and stock up. Heck, I even pay full price. Freschettas are definately the best in the frozen pizza line I've tried.
