It's always a treat when I go out to the mailbox and have something good waiting. This week my Kraft Food and Family magazine arrived. In addition to the magazine, Kraft sent a free calendar with special recipes for each month of the year.
I wasn't expecting much when I signed up for the free Kraft food magazine, and I was certainly thrilled when I discovered that this is the real deal - a slick magazine with very usable and delicious recipes. Kraft also sends an occasional email newsletter with recipes and tips which is also quite good and certainly not a spam folder mailing.
The current issue of Food and Family is packed full of great recipes for the holidays. Some of the ones I especially like are Philadelphia (cream cheese) Sugar Cookies, Cheesy Spinach and Artichoke Dip, and Holiday Cheesecakes. They also offer help with stuffing a turkey and making gravy (southern favorites but seem to be hard for many cooks). Another section includes one dish meals which is good for those days before and after the big holiday meals.
I certainly enjoy my Kraft magazines and always find new recipes that work for my home.
If you haven't signed up for the free Kraft magazine, what are you waiting for? Click here and get in on the fun. And, tell your friends. This is one of the best freebies I've seen online in years.
