Cooking from the Bible

Anthony Chiffolo and Rayner Hesse Jr. (a NY priest) put together a cookbook of Bible recipes. The fact that the Bible only inclues one real recipe - for bread - did not worry the writers. They came up with a 386-page cookbook that they think will appeal to the devout. They mix in scriptures and lessons on history to build a book that they think will appeal to the religious market.

If you want to learn more about "Cooking With The Bible - Biblical Food, Feasts and Lore," then see the Washington Post article about this new cookbok. You'll need to sign up with an account to view articles. The form is short, and you can view a lot of great stories. You can also sign up for alerts for topics of interest.

You can make up your own mind about this one.
