Moving to a Big Kid Bed

My almost 2 year old recently moved out of his crib. We were ready for him to move into his big boy bed long before he was. We were getting ready to welcome a new baby into our home and we worried that he would not give up his crib willingly. Luckily, with only a few days before the baby was going to arrive, my son decided he was ready to move out of the crib and simply started sleeping in his big kid bed. Once he was ready he never looked back.

Toddlers have to do things on their own time frame but there are things that we can do to encourage them along the way.
