Finding the Time to Play

It's hard sometimes to allow your toddler to play the way they want to. Many activities require such a long cleanup process at the end that you have to really evaluate if it is worth the effort. It is important to remember that you are creating wonderful memories with your toddler that will last a lifetime. They will grow up so fast and you will treasure the time you have had with them while they are young.

There are many activities that allow you to give your toddler more freedom in their play without sacrificing your sanity. Water play in the kitchen sink is a very simple activity that requires only minimal cleanup. This activity does require supervision, as does any activity that places your toddler near water, but you may find that you enjoy play time almost as much as your toddler does.
