There have been so many recalls lately that it seems nothing is safe. With Christmas coming up, it's hard to know what is safe to buy for your infant or toddler. I am a huge fan of Boppy pillows. I've used them with all three of my kids, both for nursing and to support them as they learn to sit on their own. I never would have thought that they were at risk for being recalled, but apparently some of the zipper pulls can break and pose a choking hazard to infants or toddlers. Some of the zipper pulls on the slipcovers had an excess level of lead in them. Check to see if your Boppy slipcover is part of the recall. If it is, stop using it immediately and contact Boppy to receive a free replacement.
