This is vegiliciously unbelievable! Trace the garden-fresh, hand crafted instruments from the produce market to the workshop (yes they use power tools!) to the live stage performance to the post-show soup pot. The video clip is about six minutes long and you owe it to yourself to watch and listen to the whole thing. The musical group's web site offers detailed information about their music, philosophy, inspiration and technique. The Vegetable Orchestra will celebrate its tenth anniversary in February 2008. Who knew!?!
Admittedly this is not strictly flower related, but in mid-January I am always happy for a little levity of the garden variety. And they have a great photo of one of my personal favorites, parsnips!
