For many of us it is still too early to be cutting fresh daffodils from the garden, and I am sorry about that because winter is just too long. But here in southern California where-the-weather-is-always-perfect, the deciduous magnolias and azaleas are blooming and YES daffodils are up and flowering in many yards. And of course, daffodils and tulips are available at the florists and with a little luck, possibly your local market as well.
The Flower Council of Holland web site offers step by step how to instructions on making fresh flower arrangements. (Flash is required to view.) There are several different arrangements using daffodils or tulips. You might be inspired to try a special arrangement with your own daffodils or tulips this spring, whether you grow them yourself or bring them home from the florist. Step by Step Bouquets.
