Daylily Display Gardens

July is high daylily season and a Daylily Display Garden is just the place to see and enjoy the beauty and vigor of this terrific perennial plant. Each display garden grows a unique but wide selection of daylilies and the plants are well maintained so you can see them growing and blooming at their best. Most important, they are labeled so you can put a name to your favorites. Some of the display gardens are at public places such as the National Arboretum in Washington DC while others are at daylily nurseries or even private homes. Each garden has its own style and feel, and the collection of plants will vary from place to place, too. If you have some spare time this month and can brave the midsummer heat, I recommend you make up an itinerary and take a tour!

The American Hemerocallis Society web site includes a directory of the Official AHS Daylily Display Gardens in the US and Canada.
