It's been a pretty horrible last few days, which is one of the reasons I haven't blogged recently (what do you mean, you hadn't noticed?). My priority was to dig myself out. Finally, after writing about 3500 words today, I've started to feel for the first time in several days that I'm not actually drowning....
And tonight as I came in from the Eye Hospital, I got a lovely little surprise.
My contributors copy of Interzone 225.
Contents list is:
Here We Are, Falling Through Shadows by Jason Sanford
illustrated by Mark Pexton
By Starlight by Rebecca J. Payne
The Killing Streets by Colin Harvey
illustrated by Mark Pexton
Funny Pages by Lavie Tidhar
illustrated by Warwick Fraser-Coombe
Bone Island by Shannon Page & Jay Lake
illustrated by Mark Pexton
Plus cover artwork from Adam Tredowski that --if I squint-- could actually be for 'The Killing Streets.' It isn't, of course, but a man can dream...
So there you have it. A nifty illustration from Mark Pexton, and my name on the contents page with writers I admire. How nice is that?
