NAMI Airline Reservation Site

It's always nice to help a worthy cause and at the same time find an easier way to do something. And that's exactly what happens when you make airline reservations through NAMI. It works much like the major reservations sites such as Orbitz, but I think it's more user-friendly. And the commission goes to support the fine work of the

National Alliance on Mental Illness, a nonprofit support and advocacy organization of families and friends of people with severe mental illness.

Using the NAMI site couldn't be easier. I just used it to reserve seats for our return to Italy, and was very impressed. First, it shows the real prices, with taxes and fees, and shows them right away. Unlike some of the big reservation sites, at NAMI you don't have to choose the routing before it tells you the tax and fees. Second, it shows how many seats are left at this price. That's very handy if you're wondering whether you can wait a day or so to firm up plans. And it is filled with handy insider tips about the airline or changes at the airport terminal you'll be using.

I'll be clicking on the NAMI site for the best prices on my flights from now on. And I'll know that my money is doing double duty to help families with bi-polar children and others who suffer from mental illnesses.
