I'm pretty excited for a couple of reasons:
It's finally summertime! Even in Minnesota, where it seems to always be cold, it feels and looks like summer.
Summer means inexpensive fashion. Okay, maybe not completely inexpensive, but tank tops, shorts and flip flops cost a lot less than a great sweater. With the economy being what it is, one thing remains the same. People of all ages continue to want to look and feel good and want the same for their children and teens...just for less.
If there is anything good about being in a recession, never before have there been so many opportunities for designer fashion at budget prices. Children and teens make up a huge part of the fashion world, and if you've ever been a teen on a budget, you understand how important it is to find the best deals.
Plus, it's Memorial Day weekend and there will be sales everywhere. I hope everyone finds a great pair of shoes, a steal of a designer handbag or a sale full of must haves that your kids and teens will appreciate.
And of course, have a wonderful, summery, Memorial Day weekend!
Always,
Christina
