Most students and teachers will be celebrating their 100th day of school in late January to early February depending on their school schedule. It is a day for students and teachers to celebrate their 100th day at school together.
The number 100 is represented in countless ways to illustrate a variety of things. One hundred is relative to what it is representing. For example, 100 million dollars is an expansive amount of money while 100 million cents is not as large even though they both represent 100 million. As well, a person who is being bullied for 100 seconds can seem like a lifetime while 100 seconds watching your favourite show seems to pass without even noticing the time.
Celebrate the 100th day of school with your students while teaching them the beauty of the number 100.
