Winner of Internet Dating Is Not Like Ordering a Pizza

Thanks to all of you who entered the contest to win a copy of Internet Dating is Not Like Ordering a Pizza.

As part of the contest, I asked you to list your gripes about online dating. I got a lot of very interesting responses. The most common were:

- Costs of joining a dating service

- Dishonesty with information on profiles

- Lack of quality people online

- Lack of responses

I hear ya. I'm curious to know how many of you have actually tried online dating and which of you tried it briefly and then gave up. (Perhaps that will be part of a future poll!)

For now, I'll bet you're all wondering who won the giveaway!

(Drum roll please......................)

The winner is:

Laura W.!

Congrats to Laura. I've got your address and will be mailing out your book very soon.

For those that didn't win, remember that online dating takes time, and some of the "horror stories" you hear are from people who haven't really tried online dating. Instead, they have chosen to believe some common online dating myths rather than move out of their comfort zone.

If you've been frustrated by online dating, remember that a great approach and great profile are the keys to Internet dating success.

Until then.... happy dating!
