Do Single Women Outnumber Men?

For the single ladies out there who believe there are more of them out there than single men… guess what?

You’re right. But not by much.

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, 54% of unmarried and single Americans 18 and older are women.

Need more of a breakdown?

• That means there are 86 unmarried men for every 100 unmarried women.

So guys, this means you have no excuse to hold on to a relationship that isn’t right. And if you’re complaining that you can’t meet a girl? Guess what – there are more of them out there for you so you’re just making excuses. Get on out there and date boys!

Okay, now ladies, I know this might seem a little depressing. But you know what? The gap isn’t that wide. You can approach and meet new people easily enough with a little practice. Have you tried lunch dating? Online dating? Speed dating?

If your answer is no… why not? What have you got to lose? Remember, wanting a relationship is NOT the same as being desperate. So if you want to meet someone, get out there and do it. You never know what’s waiting for you right around the corner .
