Book Review: “Jasper's Day”

The book is written by Marjorie Blain Parker, illustrated (beautifully) by Janet Wilson, and published by Kids Can Press Ltd.

“Jasper's Day” is a beautifully told story of a family making the decision to euthanize their beloved pet. The decision to euthanize is never easy, this book helps the reader understand the decision that needed to be made and the reason behind it.

The story is a good one to help explain euthanasia to a child but a parent or guardian should read the book with the child because it can be upsetting.
