The fragile ecosystem of Appledore Island is managed and directed by the Shoals Marine Laboratory (SML) operated by the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences - Cornell University (NY) in cooperation with the University of New Hampshire - Durham, NH.
For information or to make a reservation please contact the Shoals Marine Laboratory office at Cornell University: Telephone:607)254-2900, or (607)255-3717;
