Here are the results of what readers think is important in outdoor holiday decorations and how they voted in the December poll. Many thanks to all for your input!
I thought it was interesting that despite the ever increasing numbers of giagantic baloon figures and snowglobes on peoples' lawns, there were no votes for this option in the poll. On the other hand, the majority of readers responding to the poll are very much tradtionalists.
- Menorah in a window or larger one on the lawn. (10.00%)
- Luminaria for parties and on Christmas Eve. (10.00%)
- Bart Simpson or Santa snowglobes. (0.00%)
- Traditional garlands and wreathes. (70.00%)
- As many lights and decorations as my yard can accomodate! (10.00%)
