C olonial Williamsburg (VA),i n recognition of Black History Month (February), examines the role of African Americans in colonial America during a a special weekend of programs - February 24-25. Although programs during this wekend do not highlight or feature colonial landscapes and landscaping, they do attempt to explain by various methods what it meant to be an enslaved African Virginian - one of the people who manually made the landscapes many associate wiht colonial America.
