Arnold Arboretum, MA Calls Artists

The Arnold Arboretumnear Boston, MA invites artists to donate artwork for the traditional Lilac Sunday 2007 t-shirt. The winning design will reflect the spirit, history, and beauty of Lilac Sunday. The winning artist receives 10 free t-shirts and one-year Friends of the Arnold Arboretum membership.

Arnold Arboretum staff will judge the design competition with a winner selected by January 2007. The Arboretum's Hunnewell Building will host a display of all finalists' designs during January and again on Lilac Sunday, May 13. Deadline for submissions is October 30, 2006

On Lilac Sunday, May 13 in 2007, garden enthusiasts from all over New England gather at the Arboretum to picnic, watch Morris dancing, and tour the lilac collection. So...Design, Donate, Delight . . . your design could win!
