Deadline: August 1, 2006.
Aqueduct Press is interested in publishing a collection devoted to WisCon 30,
as a volume in its Conversation Pieces series. (For more about the
Conversation Pieces series, see <www.aqueductpress.com>.) Aqueduct would like
the volume to include a variety of materials -- essays about the con, reports
on programming, & papers presented for the academic track -- as well as other,
less conventional sorts of materials, such as drawings, cartoons, flash
fiction, dialogues, letters, manifestos, rants... Materials may be submitted
either as an email attachment (in pdf, rtf, or Word formats) to
ltimmel@aqueductpress.com or in hard copy to L. Timmel Duchamp, Editor,
Aqueduct Press, P.O. 95787, Seattle, WA 98145-2787.
I don't have any pay details, but for an essay in Talking Back, I got $25 and two contributors' copies. Aqueduct is a nice looking press and if you have something about the con, this might be a good place for it.
