If Sanjaya wins, I will…
This season’s American Idol phenomenon has inspired people to fast and have all manner of tantrums online. Its name is “Sanjaya” and it has also inspired online t-shirt sales at IfSanjauaWins.com. You get to fill in the blank after “If Sanjaya wins, I will…”
I’m still trying to fill in my blank. Likely my shirt would say, “Vow never to watch Idol again.”
It seems as though many are already taking that vow, t-shirt or not, as Idol attracts fewer viewers each week. This season is just not pulling the ratings the franchise is used to getting. Personally, I don’t think it’s all Sanjaya’s fault as the show has gotten terribly routine. It definitely needs some refreshing. To say it’s predictable is an understatement.

J.Lo Tanks, No one notices
What’s even more sad that no one has noticed J.Lo’s weak album sales is the responses I received from people asking me, “What new J.Lo album?” Ouch.
Fall Out Boy Civic and Civic Tour
This poor blog has been sitting around unfinished for days, and I must apologize! I got into a horrendous car accident that can only fall into the “lucky to be alive” category over the weekend after blowing a tire on the freeway.
The rental car company has given me a 2007 Honda Civic Hybrid to drive around. It’s a sweet little ride and I even considered buying it for a moment so I went to the Honda website to find out that I can actually win one designed by Fall Out Boy! I totally signed up to win the eco-friendly, Van-Gogh themed ride from FOB. I doubt I’ll win since I have probably used up my good fortune free pass by surviving my accident. But as comic Judy Tenuda always says, “It could happen.”
