New to Webmaster Resources

Welcome to the Webmasters Resource section of Suite101. I've been recently promoted to the feature writer seat for this section and I must say that I am excited to be here talking to you today. My goal is to provide you with lots of information, tools and techniques necessary to build a strong web presence. This includes your internet website and associated social network, and also your intranet and extranet sites.

Having a web presence means being involved in any place on the internet where people talk and share information. And well, that's just about everywhere. It's not enough to have a killer website (but it certainly helps). So we want to help you understand what you are trying to achieve by going online and then give you the resources to design and build that overall experience.

It's also important for me that you have a central location for all information related to your web presence, from defining your requirements to designing your website and other sites to building, maintaining and marketing it. There's lots of information out there to find, we want to centralize it in one location and give you a one-stop shop.
