Brandi Granger's Blog
I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to the Special Needs Education site here at Suite101. I have a lot of ideas, knowledge and passion to offer to the site, but there is no point in doing it without the input and thoughts from you, the reader. If you have any topic you would like to see addressed, written, researched, or whatever, please do not hesitate to post it or email me at:SpecialNeedsEducation@suite101.com It's very important to me that this site, the articles and discussions within it, be as informative and desirable as possible. I would like to address as diverse as topics as I can, like looking into the various disabilities that children can be diagnosed with to adults with disabilities at postsecondary school. Perusing the Net I have discovered that there is not a lot of information out there for students themselves, for paraprofessionals like occupational therapists and physical therapists and for adults with disabilities who attend postsecondary. I would like to change that here. I would like this site to be a portal where learning takes place and where real discussions occur surrounding the pivotal topics within Special Education that may not be otherwise addressed. It’s important to look at all sides of issues and to maturely discuss pros, cons, good, bad, etc. I would like to create a safe environment where everyone’s points of views are treated with respect and dignity. Please feel free to discuss anything and everything you would like to address. This site is for you, the reader to learn from, enjoy, to pursue interests for various reasons and to use your knowledge and experience to help others. |
