According to Kantipuronline.com, developmental aid to Nepal from UK, Denmark, Finland has come down significantly. The news says that"DFID, the British Funding Agency, for instance, has cut aid from £ 47 million (Rs 5.8 billion) it proposed in 2004 to below £ 32 million (Rs 3.9 billion) in 2006."
This is expected to slow down the alreday marred development process in Nepal, one of the poorest countries in the world.
