Turn Trash Into Treasure

Trash can be turned into treasure with just a little ingenuity. So much of what we throw away can be reused. And what better use than a craft project with the kids? Here is a list of items that can be saved and used in a variety of ways.

Egg cartons

1 or 2 liter bottles

toilet paper and paper towel tubes

baby food jars

styrofoam trays (wash thoroughly in a mild bleach solution if they contained meat)

buttons off old clothes

caps from milk jug lids

frozen juice flat lids

berry baskets

film canisters

mismatched socks (great for puppets)

What items do you save? Email me and I will post them here!

Happy crafting,

Belinda
