Why Are You on the Water?

While response to the second poll at Boating and Sailing was light, it was obvious that the most popular reason to go boating involved getting away from things and camping on the beach. The fact that this is my favorite choice doesn't color my unbiased reporting of these results! Detailed information on the poll is below:

Many of us work and play on the water. I get paid to do it, but still show up on the weekends. What's your excuse?

• I feel obligated to support the local economy. (0 votes, 0.0%)
• Fish, fishing and catching more fish. (2 votes, 14.29%)
• It's great to get out and cruise with the family. (3 votes, 21.43%)
• Nothing beats kayaking out and camping on the beach! (6 votes, 42.86%)
• No excuse, I need to get some time off... (3 votes, 21.43%)
