State of the Coast Guard Address

U.S. Coast Guard Commandant Admiral Thad Allen delivered the State of the Coast Guard address on March 4, 2009. Admiral Allen highlighted the goals and priorities seen for the public safety agency for the coming year. The Coast Guard is involved in national security, recreational boating, port state control, and search and rescue.
