Taiwan's dishes cover more than eight regions of China, from the seafood-heavy Fujian to the salty offerings of the Hakka people. There's plenty of veggies, pork and dumplings and the classic "stinky tofu" which actually has a mild taste despite its name. Taiwanese, from what I understand, have a snack food-type culture, so there's plenty of food you can eat off one hand. Try the sausages and soup-filled buns. Oh yes, don't forget the bubble tea.
