28 Weeks Later

I have yet to see either of the films that address the issue of a pandemic virus that wipes out most of the world's population. The films 28 Days Later and 28 Weeks Later portray the after-effects of a pandemic viral infection. The films seem timely in that healthcare systems around the world are readying for a pandemic influenza outbreak; however, the previews that I've seen do nothing to encourage me to see the films, or predict the serious outcomes of a global pandemic of any type.

The sequel, 28 Weeks Later, reportedly portrays the release of people from a containment zone following a pandemic that terrorized the U.S. I look forward to comments from those who are willing to pay the price of admission.
